My father pressed his first harvest the year I was born, in a borrowed mill, and slept beside the tank because he didn't trust anyone else to watch it. I grew up between these rows, and everything I know about oil I learned twice: once from him, and once from the trees.

My children are the ones who built MyOliveTree. They understood what I have always known but could never sell: oil isn't a product, it's a place. A hillside. A single pressing, within hours of harvest. When you adopt a tree, you'll find it on our virtual grove map, follow it through the season, and know exactly which slope your oil came from.

My father made oil for the village. I make it for people I may never meet, but I make it the same way he taught me. With patience. With care. With love.

Everything you might want to know before adopting your tree.

After adopting, you'll receive a personalized certificate and your own custom label for your oil bottles. We'll keep you updated through the season with news from the grove, and your first bottle ships shortly after the autumn harvest, which falls around late October to early November.

Yes, you're welcome to visit our partner groves in Tuscany. The tree you adopt lives on the MyOliveTree map, so there's no carved name on a trunk in a field, but the partner groves are real and open to you. You'll meet the trees, the farmer, and the place. Contact us to arrange a visit during the harvest season.

Three things. First, it's certified organic extra-virgin olive oil, single-estate Tuscan, never a blend of cheap imported oil. You taste one slope, one pressing, and it comes with its EVOO and organic certificates. Second, every batch is lab-tested for acidity, peroxides, and polyphenols, and cold-pressed within hours of harvest to lock in flavour and nutrients. Third, your bottle comes with a story, the tree, the season, the hands that tended it.

Your first shipment goes out shortly after the harvest is pressed, which falls around late October to early November. Once you claim your shipment, it usually takes up to 10 days to ship express from Italy, whether to the US or worldwide. Packaging is designed to protect the bottles in transit and shield the oil from light.

Yes, you can add your own text to the label, whether it's your name or a gift message. The customization tool lets you preview the design before you place your order.

Adoptions renew annually, but you're always in control and can cancel before renewal. We'll notify you ahead of time so you can decide whether to continue with your tree.

Yes, this is one of the most popular ways to adopt. You choose when the recipient finds out: they get a reveal email on the date you pick, with the tree, the certificate, and your personal note. You stay the owner for the year, and the oil is theirs. Each gift can have its own recipient, message, and delivery address.

Your oil is pressed right after the autumn harvest (October to November), then bottled. We email you the moment it's ready to claim, on your tree's own timeline. Nothing to track in the meantime.

You set it yourself in the app under Profile → Address, including a separate address for each tree you've gifted. You can add or change it any time before you claim.

Yes. Every adoption comes with a certificate naming you (or your gift recipient) and the tree. Gift recipients get theirs with the reveal.

Your adoption covers one year. You can choose whether to renew, and renewal can be switched off. Just write to us at info@myolivetree.it and we'll sort it.

Check spam first. If it's still missing, email info@myolivetree.it and we'll resend your login, certificate, or reveal right away.
